84 years ago this week Crystal Palace burned down, 41 years ago this week Pink Floyd released their album “The Wall”, and 65 years ago this week Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama.

- Over the last six months, Westbury Fields resident Jennifer Gardener has been walking 100 miles each month to raise money for two charities; Soroptimist International Bristol Club, and Methodist Women in Britain’s charity - Mission Aviation Fellowship. What started out as a way to raise funds for these two organisation has had a very positive effect on Jennifer and other residents of Westbury Fields retirement village. Read Jennifer's story here.
