Charitable programme
Under the charitable foundation banner, a consortium of approximately 50 organisations, including the St Monica Trust, will deliver a charitable programme with funding worth £1.5 million per year, with the St Monica Trust contributing £500,000, to eradicate loneliness and isolation among older people.
The idea behind the charitable programme is to adopt a shared vision. Though a series of think tank events already held with partners, a programme of support is being developed that will launch in September 2024.
All projects will be forged within a clear vision and all focus on the common aim of eradicating loneliness and isolation among older people.
The Trust will continue with its individual giving programme and also
thematic grant-giving to organisations, but the majority of the Trust’s
funding will now be directed towards the charitable programme.
