Our welcoming care homes are set within the beautiful surroundings of our retirement villages. There are village care teams for those who live independently in our accommodation too. Whatever your needs, we’re here for you.

Dementia care
Our specially designed dementia care homes and services are inspired by the contribution that people living with all types of dementia continue to make. Our approach is based on the quality of the relationships that we build and the way that the environment is designed to support interactions, which give meaning and purpose to every day.
Nursing care
The St Monica Trust’s nursing care homes provide care and companionship for residents in beautifully designed environments. Our aim is to make sure you get the best out of every day and enjoy a friendly atmosphere where you can feel truly at home.
Respite care
We offer short-term care with comfortable en-suite rooms, well-equipped for all your needs, and access to support from our experienced therapy team. Rooms can be booked in advance like in a hotel, so you get to choose when you’d like to check in and check out.
Residential care
The new residential care wing at Charterhouse in Keynsham offers the assistance and security that comes from living in a care home to those who don’t need nursing care. Our friendly team are primed to provide personal and practical support to make it easy for you to continue enjoying your life the way you want.
End of life care
We’re nationally recognised for our award-winning palliative and end of life care, which sensitively encompasses all aspects of your physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Working with you and your loved ones, we’re here to provide relief and support for as long as you need us.
Home Care
Our home care service provides care and support for the residents of The Chocolate Quarter retirement village only.
Home care for residents of our other villages is provided by each village's care and support service.
Village care
As time moves on, you can enjoy some extra help from someone you trust. Whether it's help preparing a meal, companionship or you have more complex requirements, our friendly village care teams are ready to lend a hand. This specialist service is available for residents living in our retirement villages.
Pastoral care
The spiritual and religious needs of our residents are important to us, regardless of faith or religious affiliation. Our pastoral care team enrich our communities by ensuring that they are places where people feel they belong and can make a positive contribution. The pastoral care team are ready to provide comfort and support when times are challenging as well as celebrate life through festivals and special occasions.
Our therapy team
The therapy team at St Monica Trust play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for residents across all our care homes.
This service is available free to all our care home residents. Unlike other care providers, there are no additional charges for physiotherapy and occupational therapy at St Monica Trust.
